Job Description: We are looking for highly qualified SHM-NA Engineers to contribute to our structural health monitoring and analysis projects. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with MIDAS-Bridge software, as well as a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in the modeling and analysis of bridges and other infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Modeling:

    1. Model various types of girders, including RCC and PSC, using MIDAS-Bridge software.

    2. Model substructures such as piers and various types of foundations, including piles.

  2. Analysis:

    1. Perform static and dynamic analysis, including moving load analysis and time history analysis.

    2. Conduct Rail Structure Interaction (RSI) analysis, both complete and simplified.
  3. Project Involvement:
    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on analysis.
    2. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on analysis results and findings.

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering/ Ph.D.
  2. 2+ years of experience in using MIDAS-Bridge software.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform complex structural analyses.
  4. Proficiency in static and dynamic analysis methods.
  5. Experience with RSI analysis and familiarity with various types of bridge structures.

Skills:

  1. In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles.
  2. Advanced proficiency in MIDAS-Bridge software.
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  4. Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
