Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer – Structural Health Monitoring

Location: Hyderabad, India

Job Overview: KDM Engineers Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our projects, specializing in the design and implement SHM systems tailored to specific structures such as bridges, buildings, dams, or tunnels.

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                                                         1) Structural Analysis: 

                               1) Conduct detailed analysis of bridge structures using a variety of methods.

                               2) Perform hand calculations for basic analyses of civil concrete structures, with a focus on bridges.

   2) Standards and Guidelines:

                               1) Demonstrate understanding of various standards related to bridge specifications and guidelines.

   3) Technical Reports: 

                               1) Prepare, review, and present technical reports pertaining to structural analysis.

   4) Strengthening and Retrofitting: 

                                1) Propose effective strengthening and retrofitting techniques based on structural assessments.

   5) Drawing Preparation:

                                 1) Take responsibility for the preparation and meticulous checking of drawings related
to structural projects.

   6) Coordination:

                                  1) Collaborate with on-site teams to analyze data and ensure the implementation of
structural recommendations.

   7) Site Visits:

                                   1) Willingness to conduct site visits anywhere in India as and when required.

   8) Data Acquisition Systems:

                                    1) Experience or a willingness to learn to handle data acquisition systems through
sensors is considered a plus.

Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                                                    1) 0-2 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering.  

2) Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (PG). 

3) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (UG).
